How has Albert impacted your life?

The 500 words are too small to describe that but to put it short you revived a dying/lost hope. A family’s legacy. It’s not me y’ve impacted but a whole generation.Come n see the joy in my father’s eyes,the energy and strength he has regained.I never thought I wud be able to revamp the family’s business now but thru you in less than a year,the family’s business is revamped n now into active production after 16 years of dormancy.what more can I say than to say “Thank you” to you and your team.Jeh

I met Albert in 2015 through Blazing Trails which was organised by the British Council.

How has Albert impacted your life?

During Blazing trails, Albert was our couch and he exposed us to entrepreneurship. From there, i had the zeal and passion to start a business on my own and not to rely on the government for employment.
I am glad to say, i have started my business for 2 years now, and have employed people to work with.
Through some training been organised by him, ive been able to network with people and learnt a lot of how to be successful in the entrepreneurial journey.

How has Albert impacted your life?

I have had the opportunity of interacting with Albert on a number of occasions discussing matters that concern business Start-Ups. He has offered some suggestions and training on a number of levels. His insight into search engines, business development and incubation services is remarkable. I have learned so much from him.

Through British Council and the demand to learn how to code in php . (Basic Web Development Way back in 2010/2011)

How has Albert impacted your life?

Albert gave some the very first lesson in how to become employable.
He opened my eyes on finances. Thought me how to systemise my business.
Albert taught me by sharing materials on how to build products that are useful and can benefit from the value it gives back to the market place.He gave me exposure in ways that I didnt deserve at such an early stage in my career moving me forward in progress by over 5years ahead of my peers. Albert has been the father I never had for a single parent child.

How has Albert impacted your life?

Albert has not only been a guide, a support and a friend, he has also been keenly involved in my overall career growth whether it’s in helping me to streamline our business, or giving me relevant contacts or supporting me to get to the next level, Albert was key is supporting me in making a decision to study in the UK and his guidance was invaluable in earning me Chevening scholarlaship. Albert has been with me every step of the way.

How has Albert impacted your life?

He has made me appreciate the fact that you don’t have to be extremely okay with yourself before you give back to society. He has been instrumental in building a community of change-makers that I have benefited from their individual skills, knowledge and perspectives about life through meetups and online engagements.

I met Sir Albert , 2018 during my website development training which was subsidized by Hapaspace.

How has Albert impacted your life?

Sir Albert as I affectionately call has impacted me mostly for the opportunities especially funding opportunities.I have also benefited from him as a mentor.Whenever I have a business idea ,I go to him and he does what I call trimming: takes out the bad stuff and add awesome ideas to it to make it whole .
He was tremendous in my Snailpockets idea (www.trisolacefarms.com) and I appreciate every minute spent him . For it is said a minute with a wise man is more than reading a 100 books.

I met Sweet Albert on 13th of January, 2019 through NBU to be an intern at hapaspace.

How has Albert impacted your life?

Albert is an awesome person and the impact of Albert has been awesome. I have learnt a lot of knowledge from him and it has made me a better person. My self esteem has been awesome. My confident level has increase because I met Albert Opoku. BUT am still learning from him from a small distance. Lol

In 2009 at British Council, Kumasi. I met him at a time when my friends and I were marketing an event, The Kumasi Economic Summit.

How has Albert impacted your life?

Since last October he has helped me to improve on my business. I have had access to business opportunities and met new people who have enriched my life and business through Albert! He has been of immense help to me. God bless you for your selflessness.

I met Albert Opoku In October 2018 at hapaspace when I needed a co-working space to run my start-up company.

How has Albert impacted your life?

I am grateful to this person who built me up, He is the charming gardeners who make souls blossom.
Personally: He made me believe in myself and learnt that everything is possible if we persevere a typical instance is how I approached him at the office on what to do with what I am up to.
Economically & Socially: Setting the foundation for my company to receive its first revenue after a whole year of struggles. Refining my company, my sole proprietary firm and all I need to scale up my business.

I met Albert while I was a Googler, likely sometime in 2012. His Hapaweb Solutions was working on Google Apps for clients, etc.

How has Albert impacted your life?

I have learnt a lot from conversations with Albert, both in person and on social media. I have also learnt from his submissions on panels, etc. I appreciate the support that Hapaweb and Hapaspace have also given Barcamp Kumasi and Kumasi Konnect since 2013 or so.

How has Albert impacted your life?

He is such a selfless individual with the drive to grow with all around him. He has created platforms for me to demonstrate my skills and experience. I have learnt from his proactiveness and innovativeness creating solutions for problems that surround us. He has made me a better person and realized the immense benefit or reward you derive in the long run for serving others.

Through HapaSpace Active Citizen training. It was a defining moment when I met Albert, that’s February 2018.

How has Albert impacted your life?

Yes, Then I had lost my business in October 2017. With Lot’s of debt accruing to over GH 170000 new Ghana Cedis. As a young and upcoming entrepreneur, this poss a very great challenge on me.
Meeting Albert was a turning point when he thought me how to brand and groom myself properly in my field of work, developed volunteering attitude and network properly, which has really helped me, to work for lot’s of organizations, with an international certificate from a foreign university.

I met Albert during the “Job for Youth”; GIZ/ Bristish Council programme at HapaSpace in 2019.

How has Albert impacted your life?

The few interactions with him exposed how sincere he desires to help people. The knowledge he shares to help businesses grow is an invaluable asset he invests in all these startups. I will urge him never to stop because he might not be aware of the quantum of impact that is!

How has Albert impacted your life?

Albert impacted my life with his financial principle of setting money aside for a business no matter how well you are doing. He has demonstrated to me that you can disagree with somebody and still work together to get things done. He has also made me conscious about the fact that, you can’t do everything alone, you always need the right team and you can achieve more than you think. For me, Albert is an example that money is not an object to own but a tool to impact the life of others.

Albert has deeply impacted my life through his selfless leadership style. Albert will always be there to offer every assistance needed at any time. He’s always ready to give me counsel in all aspect of business challenges without expecting any thing in return. His love for me is unconditional and does not consider him self better than any one. Mr. Albert through his innovative skills and abilities has transformed my thinking about better and honest way of doing business and dealing with people.

Albert taught me how to present myself in the business world. He taught me how to turn every day skills into bankable skills that would appeal hirers. It rewired the way I think about how useful I could be in any setting even without experience.
